Deepen your pottery skills with our 4-Week Wheel Course at Silt Studio in Lismore, NSW — a hands-on introduction to the art of wheel throwing. Designed for beginners and returning students, this immersive program covers the full pottery process: learn to throw cylinders, alter forms, trim leather-hard pots, and even attach handles to your favourite pieces ready for firing. Each 2-hour session is guided by experienced instructors in a relaxed, supportive environment in the Northern Rivers, helping you build confidence, technique, and creativity on the pottery wheel.

The course is ideal for those wanting a deeper, structured learning experience — and can be rebooked to keep developing your skills with new challenges and advanced shaping techniques.

• Glazing and firing of 8 items included

• Total price for course is $320 ($80 per session)

Please note:

Whilst we take great care of your pieces during finishing, it is not uncommon for ceramics to crack and break during the firing process. Sessle B’s Studio does not take any liability for broken or damaged pieces.

All pieces must be collected from the studio from 4 weeks after your class. Due to storage limitations, we cannot store your items for longer than 3 months after the date of your class. Work that is not collected within this period will be donated.
