Our 4-week wheel course is for those wanting to really dive into learning some skills and experience different parts of the pottery process. Over the 4 weeks you will learn to throw a cylinder, alter its shape, trim the foot of leather-hard pots and, if time allows, attach a handle to your favourite piece in readiness for firing. Each session will run for 2 hours.

• 4 x 120 minute wheel throwing sessions

• All clay and supplies included

• Glazing and firing of 8 items included

• Total price for course is $320 ($80 per session)

Please note:

Whilst we take great care of your pieces during finishing, it is not uncommon for ceramics to crack and break during the firing process. Sessle B’s Studio does not take any liability for broken or damaged pieces.

All pieces must be collected from the studio from 4 weeks after your class. Due to storage limitations, we cannot store your items for longer than 3 months after the date of your class. Work that is not collected within this period will be donated.

Additional Information for NDIS Supported Participants:

Once you register your interest through our booking system, we will send a quote to your plan manager. Your booking will be confirmed once funding is approved.

Please note that NDIS funded bookings will incur an additional $10 administration fee per session as they are processed manually.
