BOOKING NOW OPEN FOR TERM 4, COMMENCING October 16.

Our After-School Kid's term program is a fun and social 8-week course suitable for participants of varying abilities. Different skills will be explored through hand-building, including coiling, stamping, slab rolling and mark-making. There will also be opportunity for wheel throwing for those wanting to give it a go. You will take home unique hand-made items fired and finished to keep or gift. If the program is not fully booked but has commenced and your child wishes to join, there will be opportunity to book for the remainder of the program.

Details:

  • 8 x 1.5 hour guided classes with potter plus an additional experienced support worker in attendance

  • All staff fully WWCC certified

  • 4.00pm - 5.30pm Wednesday afternoon (3.30pm drop-off if needed)

  • Drinks and snacks available for purchase at the studio from 3.30pm

  • Pieces from each session glazed and fired for later collection

  • $45 per session for 8 weeks - Course total $360. (Additional $10 admin fee per session NDIS funded)

  • Class size of up to 10 people. Minimum of 4 enrolments required for class to proceed.

If you wish to enter a course after commencement please contact us and if there is a spot we may be able to organise for you to join for the remainder.

Please note:

Whilst we take great care of your pieces during finishing, it is not uncommon for ceramics to crack and break during the firing process. Sessle B’s Studio does not take any liability for broken or damaged pieces.

All pieces must be collected from the studio from 4 weeks after your class. Due to storage limitations, we cannot store your items for longer than 3 months after the date of your class. Work that is not collected within this period will be donated.

Additional Information for NDIS Supported Participants:

Please check the box for NDIS participant. This will remove the request for immediate payment. Please provide your NDIS plan details via the questions on the booking form.

Once you register your interest through our booking system, we will send a quote to your plan manager. Your booking will be confirmed once funding is approved.

Please note that NDIS funded bookings will incur an additional $10 administration fee per session as they are processed manually.
